After laying the final layer of asphalt and marking horizontal and vertical traffic signals, the construction of a roundabout in Mojmilo is completed. Its opening improved traffic flow from Dobrinja towards the center of the city.
The newly built roundabout is part of A transversal, the road that will link the Sarajevo International Airport with the rest of the city. As announced by the Road Directorate of Canton Sarajevo, there are three traffic branches and they are currently working on connecting roundabout traffic with A transversal. A roundabout will connect A transversal with 10th transversal.
The A transversal will be one of the most important roads in this part of the capital of BiH, because the traffic to the airport or Stup will be routed from streets of Dobrinja settlement to modern boulevard.
Along with these works, they are working on the construction of the remaining part of A transversal, majority of work has been completed, so it is expected for this road to be completed this year.
The total value of the construction of A transversal is 5.800.000 BAM. The money was allocated by the Roads Directorate of Sarajevo Canton and the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo.
