The official opening ceremony for the event will be on Monday in Gazi Husrev – Bey‘s Library. During the opening occasion, a movie about Waqf (religious endowment) funds will be shown; a presentation regarding waqf property in BiH will be offered; a plaque for “the contribution to the affirmation and improvement of waqf” will be awarded; and the photo exhibition “The reconstruction of the Isa – Bey‘s hamam“ will be opened.

One of the major attractions for this year’s manifestation is the 7th International Waqf Forum that will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th of May, 2015, in Sarajevo. The co-organizers for this forum are the General Secretariat of Waqf of Kuwait, and the Islamic Development Bank from Jeddah – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The sponsor of the forum is the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic.

New issues in the field of waqf will be discussed during the forum, and the central themes up for debate will revolve around the legal status of waqf, forming waqf from production assets, and the conversion of waqf income into capital assets.
