At 19 degrees Celsius, Sarajevo, Zagreb and Ljubljana were the coldest capital cities in the region this morning, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).

The larger part of the region was colder this morning compared to the tropical heat in the previous several days, which is also confirmed by the fact that it was 21 degrees in Belgrade and 20 degrees in Maribor this morning.

At the same time, it remained warmer in the southern part of the region. It was 26 degrees in Skopje this morning, while it was 27 in Tirana, 28 in Mostar and 30 in Podgorica.

After today’s brief deterioration in weather, the hot weather will stabilize tomorrow and new heat waves for the middle of next week are expected.
