The Office of the High Representative of the International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that Christian Schmidt’s visit to Banja Luka was definitely not arranged.

Today, the high representative consciously decided not to participate in the orchestrated theatrical performance, taking into account the interests of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was written from the OHR on the X social network.

“The High Representative continues to carry out his mandate on the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina as stipulated in the Dayton Peace Agreement. He spoke today with the Vice President of the RS, Ćamil Duraković, about the situation regarding returnees in the Republika Srpska, and they agreed to meet soon and continue this conversation. ”

Also, during the day, the high representative met with FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and FBiH Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar.

“Heated speculation about where and who the high representative might visit distracts from the real work that needs to be done to solve the real problems facing the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it was stated.
