nepalskolaAmbassador of BiH to India Sabit Subašić opened the school in Nepal which was built with the funds donated by the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Ambassador of BiH to India and non-resident Ambassador of BiH to Nepal Sabit Subašić and longtime President of the Parliament of the Republic of Nepal Subhash Chandra Nembag officially opened the school whose construction was financed by funds donated by the Council of Ministers of BiH. After the disastrous earthquake that hit Nepal in 2015, the Council of Ministers of BiH allocated 100.000 BAM to help this country.

The school is located in the region of the capital of Nepal Kathmandu, in the settlement Shree Suntakhan. The school has 14 rooms and a number of ancillary facilities. Classrooms have the capacity to receive around 400 students, which is sufficient for the needs of the mountainous region where it was built.

In a ceremonial speech, Mr Subhash Nembag thanked the people of BiH for their help, highlighting that this school will be the symbol of friendship for both countries.

Ambassador Subašić expressed hope that this school will educate many students who will continue their education at universities worldwide. He promised that cooperation with institutions of BiH will be continued, with the aim of increasing the quality of education and rating of schools in the region.
