SDP calls on judicial Authorities to prosecute Dodik, dangerous Hate Speech and Racism

The Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls on the judicial authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to prosecute former high official Milorad Dodik for hate speech directed against Muslims as the most numerous religious community in our country.

The SDP notes that “Dodik’s lies told in the USA are not just historical revisionism, they are dangerous hate speech and racism, which his statements abound”.

“Lies about Muslims as opponents of Jews, followers of fascism and organizers of concentration camps are a shame for all those who support, host or follow Dodik. The Haggadah was preserved in Sarajevo as a treasure by citizens of all faiths, the majority being Muslims. No matter how hard Dodik and his like-minded people try to change the facts, the truth is indisputable, the other Chetniks, his favorites, were also fascists. It is true that in the fascist ranks there were citizens from all nations, which is a shame for all of them. But a man who openly supports the German neo-fascist party AfD and supports their candidates cannot speak of others as fascists or Jew-haters,” the SDP statement reads.

This party emphasizes that the partisans included members of all nations, including Serbs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and together they defended, built and advocated their Bosnia and Herzegovina as an equal republic, and that at the meetings of ZAVNOBiH and AVNOJ they established that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not belong to anyone in particular, but to everyone together.

“This is a fact with which Dodik and the Chetnik ideology, which has been advocated by domestic traitors and fascist servants since then, cannot reconcile. It is the holidays based on the anti-fascist heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s statehood that Dodik boycotts and tries to devalue their significance. The fascist who justifies crimes, genocide and conceals and minimizes the killing of thousands of Muslims in the camps of his role models Mladić and Karadžić, while inventing some Muslim camps, must be prosecuted for these atrocities and spreading hatred,” the statement says.

As the SDP points out, with such statements Dodik declares himself as the most consistent follower of the fascist ideology of racial domination and the alleged evil nature of “others”, for which he deserves only social isolation and a court sentence.

“In the end, Dodik, as a fascist in the making, has already, like his Chetnik idols, suffered defeat at the hands of anti-fascists, but he clearly needs time to accept both truths,” the SDP concludes.
