Seminar “Why is the Deficit Really Important”

deficitThe Project of EU “Capacity Building of public debt management in B&H” organizes a seminar on the topic “Why is the deficit really important”, today in Sarajevo.

The project is especially adjusted to provide direct assistance to the ministries of finance at the state and entity level, and the Directorate of fiance of Brčko district.

The seminar will provide a dual benefit, a better theoretical understanding of public debt management, and customer support in operational work of these institutions. The lecturer of this seminar is the international expert Professor Peter Sinclair.

The seminar will bring together representatives from the Directorate for Economic Planning, Ministry of finance and Treasure of B&H, Ministry of Finance of FB&H and RS, the Directorate of Finance of Brčko District and the B&H Central Bank, as well as the representatives of international organizations, non- governmental research organizations and representatives of the academic community.
