Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Mirko Okolic, said that seven members of the Bosnian Armed Forces are currently positive for coronavirus, and that 104 of them are in self-isolation.

“Among the infected who are being treated, we have really serious cases, but we hope that they will be cured quickly and return to their jobs ,” said Okolic, Avaz news portal reports.

He added that of the seven infected with coronavirus, six were hospitalized and only one was undergoing home treatment.

Okolic specified that three members of the Armed Forces are undergoing hospital treatment in Tuzla, and one in Mostar, Banja Luka and Bihac.

He stated that there were close to 300 members of Bosnian Armed Forces are in isolation.

“The number of members of Bosnian Armed Forces in self-isolation decreases as time goes on. We must be very careful that the virus does not enter our facilities and among our members,”  Okolic emphasized.
