Seven Victims of Serb Nationality exhumed from a Mass Grave

Following the DNA results of the analysis, families confirmed the identity of seven victims of Serb ethnicity in Banja Luka.

Seven victims were exhumed from a mass grave at the site of the City Cemetery in Bosanski Brod while the remains of a victim were exhumed in Banja Luka.

Following the DNA results of the analysis, families today confirmed the identity of seven victims: Stanko (Simo) Buzak, born in 1931 in Bosanski Brod, Miroslav Joftic, born in 1974 in Slavonski Brod, Stoja (Stevo) Srijemac, born in 1910 in Bosanski Brod, Petar (Zaharija) Srijemac , born in 1930 in Bosanski Brod, Obrad (Mirko) Pivas, born in 1931 in Bosanski Brod, Nedeljko (Milan) Mitrić, born in 1953 in Bosanski Brod and Milorad (Cvjetko) Lazic, born in 1941 in Bosanski Brod .

In the Department of Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, the eighth victim was identified in the earlier period. It is Refik (Dervisa) Dedić, born in 1934 in Kljuc.

His mortal remains were exhumed at the local Graveyard site in Banja Luka.
