beogradSeventh Festival ‘Days of Sarajevo in Belgrade’ will be held from 13 to 15 May, said the Initiative for Human Rights.

This year the focus of the festival will be war children- young people who spent their childhood in besieged Sarajevo.

One of them is Jasminko Halilović who’s coming to Belgrade with publication ‘Childhood in war’ and with the same exhibition which was exhibited on 8 May in Belgrade.

Film program will offer films of Danis Tanović, Aida Begić and Jasmila Žbanić and other young directors from Belgrade and Sarajevo.

In recent years, Belgrade hosted many artists from Sarajevo, musicians, photographers, directors, writers, etc.

Youth Initiative for Human Rights organises the festival every year in May in order to remind on the Siege of Sarajevo, but with the idea to re-establish connections severed during the war in BiH in 90ies.
