Several flights from Sarajevo International Airport were canceled this morning due to strong winds.

Thus, the flight from Istanbul that was expected at 12:00 and 15:00 did not land at the airport, and according to the official website, the flights that were supposed to go to Frankfurt and Istanbul at 10:00 and 13:10 were cancelled.

The Sarajevo Airport press office added to Klix.ba that, in addition to the aforementioned, the flight to Zagreb was also cancelled. They cited bad weather conditions as the reason, i.e. strong gusts of wind.

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute had previously issued an orange warning due to strong and stormy wind gusts. The warning is valid until 18:00 today.

During the night, the wind created several problems throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. The majority involved material damage to private buildings, and there was also one fire.
