Significant Decrease in Number of Coronavirus Cases in BiH

In the last three days, 68 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the previous 72 hours, a total of 1,370 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 42 were positive for coronavirus. New cases have been registered in all cantons, except in Bosnia-Podrinje.

A total of 1,263,219 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 251,006 individuals.

In the previous 72 hours, there were no deaths caused by the infection in the Federation of BiH, while one death was reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 8,876.

In the last three days, 216 laboratory samples were tested in laboratories in Republika Srpska, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 26 people. There are 15 men and 11 women.

In the last three days, two deaths as a result of coronavirus infection have been reported to the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health. These are older men from Doboj and Prnjavor.

So far, 112,176 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 6,370 people who have been tested for coronavirus have died. A total of 423,546 people were tested.

In the past three days, no new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the Brcko District.
