SIPA: Drugs and Weapons found in Operation “Walker”, 10 People arrested

Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency yesterday (19.02.2025), in the operational action “Šetač”, in the area of ​​Sarajevo, East Sarajevo and Kiseljak, during a search of residential premises and movable property at 14 locations, discovered and temporarily seized about two kilograms of the narcotic drug speed, one kilogram of the narcotic drug marijuana, 120 grams of the narcotic drug cocaine, two automatic rifles, 76 pieces of ammunition for an automatic rifle of 7.62 mm caliber, one passenger motor vehicle, one precision scale, about 5,000.00 BAM, one video surveillance recorder, forged documents, mobile phones as well as other items that can serve as evidence in further proceedings.

10 persons were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of “Organized crime”, “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs” and “Unauthorized possession of weapons or explosive substances” prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Herzegovina.

After criminal processing and questioning, the persons deprived of their liberty will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the acting prosecutor of the Travnik Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office as suspects.

The above activities were carried out by order of the Novi Travnik Cantonal Court and under the supervision of the Travnik Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, the Sarajevo Canton and the Central Bosnia Canton, the State Agency for Investigation and Protection announced.
