Members of the BiH Investigation and Protection Agency arrested four people in the area of Sarajevo, Goražde and Gradiška on suspicion of people smuggling.

As part of the “Istok-rav” campaign, four residential buildings were searched, and four cars used for people smuggling, a small amount of drugs, certain documents, and other items that can be used as evidence in criminal proceedings were temporarily confiscated.

The arrested persons were interrogated as suspects, after which they were released to defend themselves, Sipa announced.

These activities were carried out by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo and Bosnian-Podrinje Cantons.
