Sixty Percent Vehicles are older than 15 Years in BiH

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), a total of 690.597 vehicles were registered in 2021, which is 2.9 percent more than in 2020, when a total of 671.369 vehicles were registered.

Of the total registered number of road motor vehicles in 2021, 87.1 percent are passenger vehicles, 10.4 percent are utility vehicles, and 2.5 percent are all other categories of vehicles.

Observed by age, of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 6.5 percent are in the age category up to 5 years, 34 percent are in the category of 6 to 15 years, while 59.5 percent are older than 15 years, as data from the Federal Institute of Statistics show.

Of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 41.424 refer to the road motor vehicles which were registered for the first time in 2021, which is 21.8 percent more than in 2020, when 34.013 vehicles were registered for the first time.
