Skaters From 17 Countries at the Competition in Sarajevo

umjetnicko_klizanjeThe international competition in skating “Sarajevo Open 2014” will be held on 31 January until 2 February in Sarajevo at the Olympic hall Juan Antonio Samaranch under the organization of B&H Union of Skating Sports.

This competition is of the highest rank and it is on the official calendar of the International Skating Union (ISU) and is also the main event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sarajevo Olympics.

The arrival to Sarajevo and participation at the competition was confirmed by more than 170 competitors from 16 countries, such as Turkey, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Finland, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Moldova, Austria, Mexico and B&H, and  11 international judges.

The B&H Union of Skating Sports announced that the competition will be held in all categories, and they are particularly looking forward to the arrival of a large number of junior and seniors, who are in the top ranks of the European and world skating lists.
