“Sloboda” Awarded to Winners of 2013

sloboda_nagradaThe Director of International Peace Center Ibrahim Spahić awarded “Sloboda” prizes to the winners of 2013, today at the B&H Armed House of Armed Forces on the eve of the official opening of the 30th Festival “Sarajevska Zima”.

This prize is awarded to individuals or organizations that with their actions contributed to freedom, peace and development in B&H, Europe and the world.

Dervo Sejdić and Jakob Finci were awarded for the struggle for human rights, while the special award “Sloboda” went to the B&H Armed Forces for peace missions in the world.

Organizations who received the awards are: SABNOR B&H for anti -fascist engagement, B&H Youth Information Agency for the struggle in regard to the rights of young people, B&H Association of sitting volleyball for continuing worldwide success, B&H Football Association for qualification at the World Cup and “Festina Lente”.
