Slovenian President Borut Pahor met with Members of BiH Presidency

President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor paid an official visit to Sarajevo on Tuesday.

During his visit, he met with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Milorad Dodik and the Presidency member Sefik Dzaferovic.

Members of the BiH Presidency informed President Pahor about the ongoing political situation in the BiH, with a special accent on activities related to BiH’s path towards the European Union.

Members of the BiH Presidency assessed the role of Slovenia as a leader when it comes to bilateral relations in the region, thanking Slovenia for the unreserved support for the BiH’s European integration path.

All interlocutors agreed that the enlargement of the European Union to the “Brdo – Brijuni” participants Is the process of geopolitical importance for the entire continent.

They added that an upcoming summit of the Brdo – Brijuni processes will be held in May this year and will be hosted by Albania, with the presence of a high commissioner of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini.
