In preparation for the Youth Olympic Games EYOF 2019, on 11th and 12th February, hence Saturday and Sunday, on the Olympic mountain Bjelasnica, location Stinji Do, a test race in snowboarding ” Road to EYOF 2019 ” will be held.
This is fifth competition named “Snowboard Europa Cup Sarajevo”, which since 2010 is successfully organized by “Freestyle Team” and the Ski Union of BiH.
There will be 35 athletes from Italy, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovenia, Australia, Serbia and Macedonia. The competition is of the international character and represents one of the highest ranked of the snow sports in BiH.
This is only one of the competitions in winter sports and represents the test of the organizational skills of BiH for the European Youth Olympic Games which will be held in Sarajevo and Eastern Sarajevo in 2019.
As part of the test race “Road to EYOF 2019”, a race in biathlon at Dvoriste, on Mount Jahorina, is planned as well.
