Snowflakes of Sarajevo Winter

sarajevskazimaA jury of experts awarded the silver flakes at the 29th international festival of Sarajevo Winter 2013

In the category of music, the silver snowflake for the best concert went to Sinan Alimanović with a solo piano concert ‘My Favorite Things’.

In the category of visual art, the prize for the best exhibition went to Greek photographers for the project ‘Phasma 2’ and ‘Greece in Crisis’, and French painters and sculptors Mile Terite, Sandrine Parrois and Monsta Julien Bagard for the project ‘Spirit 2012’.

The silver snowflake for literature went to the project of cooperation of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo and the National and University libraries in B&H, called ‘Irish Literature’.

The award for film went to week of Japanese film.

In the category for theatre, the snowflake went to the Italian theatre Teatro del Lemming, with a performance of Hamlet.

The best dance event was by the Spanish flamenco show Café Cantante, performed be Pedro Fernandez and La Salli.

‘The little prince’ by A. de Saint-Expury was given the award for best program for children. It was directed by Miroljub Mijatović, and performed by the Bosnian National Theatre Zenica and the children, youth and puppetry scene.

The most significant event award was given to the 125 years of the National Museum of B&H in PSB&H, National Museum B&H and the Historical Museum of B&H.

Sarajevo Winter Festival took place under the motto ‘Peace, Art Freedom Festival’ (PAFF).
