Sokolac to get a Hotel for Sports-Recreational Tourism soon?

Construction of a hotel worth more than a million BAM with other objects for sports-recreational tourism has started.

Investors Milan Jolovic and Milan Cebic are planning to finish the hotel by the Inter-municipality Youth Sports Games which will be held in Sokolac in the summer of 2019.

Jolovic said to Srna that the hotel will have four stars and that it will be adapted to house top sportsmen which will be coming to high altitudes to train on Romanija Mountain.

“Sokolac has extraordinary natural wealth and need for sports infrastructure for high-altitude sports preparations, but it’s lacking quality accommodation for sports guests,” Jolovic said.

He said that the hotel will have 20 rooms with 50 beds, a restaurant, a playroom, a caffe and wellness center with a modern gym, pool, two Finnish saunas, a salt room and a Jacuzzi.

Jolovic considers that Sokolac should try to develop its sports-recreational tourism, transport and hunting tourists, since it has all the requirements for that.

The hotel will be over a 1,300 square meters and have four floors and will be built in a traditional mountain style adapted to contemporary needs.

The object will be opened in parts so that, by the next summer, the ground floor will be in function and until May 2019, the hotel and rooms will be ready.
