sorensen zvanična (1)Upon his return from Brussels, the Head of the EU Delegation and Special Representative to B&H Peter Sorensen said at the Sarajevo Airport today at a press conference that he was satisfied with the principles agreed upon related to the resolution of the “Sejdić-Finci” case and the coordination mechanism.

At the same time, he called on B&H leaders to be intensively involved in resolving these issues by 10 October in order to have final solutions ready for presentation to the EU Commissioner for Enlargement Štefan Fule.

He said that they would start with organizing meetings with B&H officials, and that he expects that there would be a lot of discussions in the next few days. The EU Delegation to B&H will assist local politicians, but it is necessary to emphasize that the responsibility is up to them to come up with solutions, said Sorensen.
