The Collegium of the Secretariat of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Parliamentary Assembly held a meeting on Monday to discuss the change of equipment in the premises of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly by an unknown company. Two conclusions were reached.
Earlier, it was reported that employees of private companies entered the building of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly during their collective vacation and replaced the plasma screens without an adequate order.
It was then confirmed that new plasma screens had been brought out of the White Hall, and the old ones that had been there before the EBRD conference was held in May this year.
Kenan Vehabovic, secretary of the Joint Service of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told Klix.ba news portal that the Collegium of the Secretariat reached two conclusions by consensus.
“One conclusion is that we will urgently send information with established legal and factual status to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) to determine, in accordance with our jurisdiction, whether there are any violations of the law.”
“The second conclusion is that a request is made under the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies to conduct an inspection of the premises in the parliamentary room and the server room. Also, Intelligence Agency of BiH should, in accordance with its jurisdiction, search for possible anti-intercepting devices,” Vehabovic said.
