The team of specialists for guidance and control of close air support (JTAC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is participating in the jubilee tenth international exercise “Adriatic Strike 2022”, which will be held from May 26 to June 5, 2022 in the Republic of Slovenia.
650 members and about 60 aircraft from 26 NATO and partner countries are taking part in the international military exercise “Adriatic Strike 2022”. The goal of the exercise is to maintain the level of training of JTAC specialists, as well as to maintain the level of ability of aircraft crews to provide close air support to forces in the field. The exercise is being held on four training grounds throughout the Republic of Slovenia, one of which is engaged in combat shooting with airplanes, helicopters, artillery and tanks.
The JTAC team of the Armed Forces of BiH participates in the exercise at all ranges and at three levels of command (brigade, battalion and observation post), as well as in the tasks of guiding and controlling aircraft from the air (Airborne JTAC).
