Besides cultural and spa tourism and visits to natural attractions, intensive development of sports tourism was recorded in the last 2 years during the summer in central BiH by the Tourist Board of SBC / KSB, which attracts more and more tourists and visitors every year and occupies one of the main segments of tourist offer of SBC / KSB by combining its sports and recreation facilities with natural beauty.
Vlasic Mountain stands out as one of the top sporting destination by its infrastructure, where the U-17 basketball national team of Egypt is on the preparations at the moment, within the sports grounds of the hotel “Sunce”.
According to information, basketball players and coaching staff of the national team of Egypt is delighted with the conditions that this sports center offers to them, from sports hall that are located at the highest altitude in BiH to other facilities (gym, indoor pool, food, etc.).
They expressed special enthusiasm with natural surroundings of Vlasic, where the sports fields are located.
New content that is eagerly awaited for a long time by all tourism businesses in Vlasic is construction of modern football field with underground garages at Vlasic, which is currently realized by the company SRC “Vlasic”, which will significantly improve the sports offer on Vlasic, according to a statement of the Tourist Board of SBC / KSB.
