She stated that the library contained 34.357 library items by the end of 2013, and for the first time this year the library had ensured funds for the restoration of library funds from the budget of Municipality Srebrenica.  Last year, the library fund was increased by 688 new items, of which 351 books were purchased and 337 were given in the form of donations.

This library started to operate in 1959, when the Council of Education and Culture of Srebrenica provided funds for purchasing several hundred books.
