Stari Most for France index.hrAs a sign of solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris, the Stari Most in Mostar was yesterday lit in colors of the French flag. In this way, the people of Mostar expressed condolences to the citizens of France, which was one of the first and most serious donors in “the process of reconstruction of the Stari Most.

“It is nice that Mostar publicly demonstrated sympathy with the victims in France. I hope that such attacks will never happen again,” said Mario Bilać from Mostar.

Sabina Šunje highlighted that it is important that the world jointly fights against terrorism and that such events should not happen in the future.

“I condemn this attack, as well as all other attacks where innocent people are killed. I hope that an end will be put to the things like this. I express deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” Šunje added

“Centar za mir i multietničku saradnju” (Center for Peace and Multi-Ethnic Cooperation) organized the activation of lights in colors of the French Flag on the Stari Most.
