ljubic - amb grckeThe Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament Božo Ljubić met yesterday with the Ambassador of Greece to our country Karolos Gadis.

One of the topics of discussion was the intensification of parliamentary cooperation of the two countries, which would contribute to an official invite of leaders of the BIH Parliament to visit Greece.

Ljubić pointed out that, during the bilateral meetings between officials, it is necessary to speak about strengthening cooperation, especially at the economic level, and in the area of trade and transport connectivity in the region.

“In this context, it is necessary to focus attention in transport and energy’’, said Ljubić.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman Ljubić and Ambassador Gadis spoke of joint issues in the light of the upcoming Presidency of Greece in the EU and the aspirations of BIH to join the EU.

Ambassador Gadis was interested in the stage of reforms that are necessary for BiH’s Euro Atlantic path, adding that his country would continue to lend support to BIH, especially during its presidency to the EU in the first half of 2014.

Ambassador Gadis expressed interest in the meeting of requirements tied to the ruling at the European Court of Human Rights in the case of “Sejdić-Finci” and the issue of military property, announced the BiH Parliament.
