“It seems that Vucic finally realized that genocide happened in Srebrenica. He had an opportunity to meet the victims of the genocide and see that they are people with dignity”, said Munira Subasic, the President of the Association Mothers of Srebrenica.

Subasic pointed out that the visit of the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic does not represent anything to the country B&H, but it does represent something to the people who are “sick of nationalism”.

“It is important that our children, but also their children, know the real truth and somehow find strength and gain trust in each other”, said Subasic.

Subasic also said that the economic cooperation of B&H and Serbia is very important.

“It is important to work on cooperation and construction. We must have normal interstate relations. The most important is that our children and children from Serbia do not go abroad. The best happiness is right there, where we were born. It must be worked on employing those children, which is the most important thing”, Subasic said.

The Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will be staying in Srebrenica on November 11th, and attend the Investment-Development Conference.
