Ars_AeviArs Aevi is a treasure. Italy believes a lot in this project and counts on the committemnt of local authorities in maintaining the commitment and continuing the process of its reaffirmation that enabled the collection to be re-opened to the public last February.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Bendetto Della Vedova said this, who during his visit to Sarajevo went to the Ars Aevi Collection in KSC Skenderija, accompanied by the Ambassador of Italy to B&H, Ruggero Corrias.

He added that thanks to these effors and partnership with private companies, Ars Aevi will be able to reach its ultimate goal: to become a workshop of ideas, art and culture, unique in the world, whose home is Sarajevo, and will be the Museum of ‘Renzo Piano’.

This visit follows the visit of the Italian Parliamentary delegation to NATO, since last March, and begins a partnership with illycaffee, the first private partner of Ars Aevi.

The collection, with over 150 artistic works, such as the works of Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jannis Kounellis, Joseph Beuys, Brace Dimitrijević and Joseph Kosuth are currently displayed at Art Depo Ars Aevi showroom restored by UNESCO and thanks to Italian funds.

forms part of the museum heritage of Sarajevo by the tourist board of the FB&H.

Following the opening of the new museum for the public, promoted by Italy last February, the leading Italian and B&H tour operators decided to promote the collection in its tourist packages, starting from the upcoming summer season.
