cigarettesThe Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H yesterday issued the confirmation that as of April 1st, cigarettes from the assortment of Rovinj Tobacco Factory are to become more expensive.

As it was announced from the Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H, the manufacturers and distributors of cigarettes and tobacco may increase the price of tobacco products at any time of the year, considering that all taxes, such as valid excise tax for this year and the corresponding VAT, should be embedded into the new prices.

Cigarettes klix.baRovinj Tobacco Factory submitted the request for increasing the price of cigarettes to the Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H in late February.

The taxpayers and other people engaged in the trade of cigarettes of Rovinj Tobacco Factory, whose price is to increase, are obliged to schedule the inventories of these cigarettes as with April 1st, and deliver the inventory lists to the Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H.

The difference in excise tax identified in the inventory lists must be paid within 7 days from making the inventory lists, and the cigarettes for which the difference in excise tax is calculated and paid are to be sold at new prices while the stocks last, regardless of the old excise stamps.
