Technology Center LANACO opened in Banja Luka

The Technology Centre Lanaco was officially opened on Thursday, the 1st of December, in a business zone Incel in Banja Luka. Within the Technology Center is the first “smart building” on the territory of the RS, BiH and this region, and this construction  marked the celebration of the jubilee – 25 years of business of Lanaco company.

All processes in the building are monitored and managed by a software, and this center will help the company to raise its educational activities to a higher level, and provide the most advanced training of IT specialists.

“I am pleased that we are working in the first smart building in BiH and the region. This type of building and the construction method was done in accordance with the principles of the Microsoft Company. I am pleased that this building is places in Banja Luka, where the software production will remain as well. Thanks again to everyone who believed in us and who came to support us in the development for the future,” said Nebojsa Ninic, the general manager of the company Lanaco at the opening ceremony of this technology center.

The importance of existence of such a center was also emphasized by the US Ambassador in BiH, Maureen Cormack.

“I am pleased that the company LANACO invests in its development and shows that BiH could be better. The goal of the Embassy of the United States is that more and more companies cooperate with international US companies like Microsoft, in order to help domestic companies to become more international. I am glad that Lanaco invests in young people and educates its team. The smart building is an indication that we can and should be better in the domestic economy, “she said.

The ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of the RS institutions, businesses, diplomatic representatives and many other guests.

The Technological Centre LANACO consists of the main and a technical facility, with the total area of 10,000 square meters, with the capacity of up to 600 people. Besides the office and data center, the main building consists of classrooms for training, conference rooms and a restaurant and recreational facilities. In technical facility is placed the space for the production of hardware, service and warehouse, as well as garage space.
