Ten Persons tested Positive for Covid in Sarajevo, 16 Recovered

During the past 24 hours, in the Sarajevo Canton, 10 people tested positive for coronavirus out of 456 tested, sixteen people recovered from Covid-19 infection, and there were no deaths. Of the mentioned number of newly infected, five persons belong to family clusters or contacts with previously infected persons, which is why they are in self-isolation from before.

Currently, 42 patients are hospitalized in CS, 30 at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, and at the General Hospital “Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas ”12 of them. There are no patients on a respirator, and oxygen support for breathing above 15 liters per minute is used by one hospitalized person who is currently being treated at the General Hospital.

In the past 24 hours, two people were released from treatment. Today, Sarajevo Canton records 187 active cases of Covid-19 infection. There are currently 897 people in self-isolation. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Sarajevo Canton, a total of 52,601 people infected with coronavirus have been registered and 51,131 cured. According to the data of the Public Health Institute of KS, in the past seven days, the average number of infected is nine, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 14.
