The Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses and the Mother Movement Association of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves reacted to the statement of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, that “1. March is a reason for war, not Independence Day”.
“It is obvious that ‘our’ Minister of Security is following the narrative of Ćosić, the ideologist of Serbian lies and the cause of Serbian genocide and ethnic cleansing at the end of the 20th century, he defined a lie and said: ‘We lie in order to deceive ourselves, to comfort others, we lie out of out of compassion, we lie out of shame, to encourage, to hide our misery, we lie out of honesty. We lie for the sake of freedom, a lie is a form of Serbian patriotism and a confirmation of our innate intelligence. We lie creatively, imaginatively, inventively’,” they say from those associations.
They remind Minister Nešić that internationally legally established facts say that in 1991 a criminal enterprise was created in Belgrade by Slobodan Milošević and Serbian officials, in which Karadžić, Krajišnik and others participated, and a plan was made to attack the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. So that on January 9, 1992, he made official the evil that had already been prepared in Belgrade in these areas.
“In addition to that, Minister, numerous graves throughout the entity of the RS speak for themselves, camps, destroyed mosques in Banja Luka and throughout the entity, and ultimately genocide. All of this has been decided by the UN and other international courts. If you had any shame and shame, not towards the people against whom the genocide was committed, but towards the people you belong to, you would be ashamed of the legacy you are leaving them and the consequences they will have because of your arrogance. You are, in fact, the minister of insecurity, because you are not doing the work for which we pay you,” it is stated in the statement.
From the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association of the Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves, they tell Nešić that, since he has been a minister, the security situation has never been worse.
“On all sides we have murders, attacks on returnees, and you, as a minister, deal with matters that are not within your jurisdiction. You work for others, not for the citizens of this country. They were even worse than you, so they didn’t succeed. Neither will you. We call on the high representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina to dismiss the Minister of Insecurity, Nenad Nešić, due to his past actions. Long live Bosnia and Herzegovina, and let the minister of insecurity complain to Aleksandar Vučić, with whom he took a picture during the elections in Serbia,” according to a statement from the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association of the Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa enclaves.
