In accordance with the Instructions on the deadlines for electoral activities for the early elections for the President of Republika Srpska (RS), which will be held on Sunday, November 23, tomorrow, November 8, is the day when the election campaign officially begins and lasts until November 22 at 7 a.m., when the election silence begins, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

According to the provisions of the Election Law of BiH, the election campaign is a period when political entities, in a manner prescribed by law, inform voters and the public about their programs and candidates for the upcoming elections.

– We would like to emphasize that political entities are prohibited from presenting false information through the media that could jeopardize the integrity of the election process and misinform voters. In the event of a violation of this norm, the Central Election Commission of BiH is authorized to conduct the procedure – the CEC stated.

The Central Election Commission of BiH calls on political parties, candidates and supporters of political parties, as well as independent candidates and their supporters, and employees or otherwise engaged in the election administration, to refrain from statements that raise tensions and to conduct a fair election campaign.
