The Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H held a total of seven sessions during fifteen months of work, and each of them cost the citizens of B&H more than 23.000 BAM. Many of the citizens have heard of the Independent Board for the first time only after this parliamentary entity dismissed the former director of SIPA, Goran Zubac.
During fifteen months of work the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H held seven sessions in total, despite the fact that it was regulated by the Rules of Procedure of the Independent Board that the sessions are to be held once a month.
Of seven held sessions one was emergent, given that at that session the events of February 7th 2014, when the building of the Presidency of B&H in Sarajevo was set on fire, were discussed.
Symbolically, the Independent Board had not yet submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H the Report of Work for the year 2014, although the report has been adopted at the session of the Independent Board.
The inefficient work of the parliamentary entity was still followed by regular payment of compensations to the President and the members of the Board.
The President of the Independent Board Zika Krunic had received, and is still receiving, a monthly compensation amounting to 1.652 BAM, and the members of the Board a compensation of 1.239 BAM.
Thereby, 11.500 BAM are paid every month for the compensations to the president and eight members of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H, which equals to nearly 140.000 BAM per year.
In other words, that means each held session costs the citizens of B&H more than 23.000 BAM.
