The European diplomatic service has prepared a series of sanctions that should be imposed on the regime of Milorad Dodik, the American newspaper Bloomberg reported.
At the meeting on February 21, the foreign ministers, gathered in the Foreign Affairs Council, will discuss it, the text reads. However, sanctions should be considered as a last resort if other options to end the crisis fail, as the measures could risk derailing Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path to the European Union.
At a meeting of the Union’s ambassadors on Friday, at which the list of penalties was discussed, several countries, including Germany, requested, as stated in the text, that the measures against Dodik be combined.
