Police officers of the Federal Police Administration within the planned activities aimed at persons involved in the procurement, production and distribution of narcotics under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina conducted an operational action “Windmolen” in Zenica-Doboj Canton, and on that occasion, they arrested the person with the initials D.Š. (1995).

The person is suspected of committing the criminal offense of “Unauthorized Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs” under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Acting on the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the Federal Police Administration searched a motor vehicle, which was stopped with the assistance of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Ministry of Interior, and found 16 packages of white matter weighing about 15.5 kg on the narcotic drug amphetamine and one PVC bag with hundreds of tablets that look like the narcotic drug MDMA, as well as other items that will be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.

The person is suspected of transporting drugs from the European Union to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of distribution on the illegal market. The street value of the found drugs is higher than 300,000 BAM.

Police dogs of the Federal Police Administration were also used during the operation.

The person deprived of liberty was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal deadline after the criminal investigation in the official premises of the Federal Police Administration, along with the Report on the committed criminal offense.
