crimeThe EU Delegation to B&H paid 2.9 million EUR that are foreseen within the support of EU to efforts of B&H on prosecution of war crimes, as announced from the EU Delegation to B&H.

It is, as explained, the second tranche of funds intended for the financing of 142 employees engaged in the prosecution of war crimes (prosecutors, judges, legal assistants, investigators and other support staff) in the country.

Releasing of this tranche was conditioned by the adoption of the entire national strategic framework for the Justice Sector Reform Strategy (JSRS).

The overall goal of the support of EU is reducing the number of war crimes cases with a known suspect/s for at least half by the end of 2018.
