The Fair of U.S. Embassy Grants

american-flag-2aTomorrow in Sarajevo will open the fair of 51 projects of non-governmental organizations from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are funded by the U.S. Embassy.

Citizens on stands will have the opportunity to get to know the results of projects with objective of improving interethnic cooperation and empowerment of young people and women.

Fair is organized by Mozaik Foundation in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States, and will open at  17 o’clock at the Square of children in Sarajevo. The opening will be attended by representatives of the U.S. Embassy, the City of Sarajevo and Mozaik Foundation.

The U.S. Embassy in 2013 has invested 1.2 million KM only for the projects that will be presented at the fair. The U.S. Embassy has funded various programs from production of organic food, youth employment and empowerment of women, common cultural, educational, sports, interfaith meetings and helping individuals with special needs and freedom of speech.

The Fair of  Embassy Grants  2013 aims to encourage other NGOs that with their proposals to apply for grants, following the examples of good practices, so that they could achieve results that will contribute to their communities.
