Government distributes 135.7 Million BAM to help Citizens

A program for spending funds with criteria for the distribution of current transfers determined by the Sarajevo Canton Budget has been published. It was recently adopted by the Cantonal Government. The implementer of this program, worth 135.7 million BAM, is the Cantonal Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees.

As stated in the program, the details of which are published by Focus, these funds will be allocated in accordance with the criteria of the Regulation, and after the announcement and completion of public calls.

19.8 million BAM will go to beneficiaries of social benefits. A total of 300,000 BAM will be allocated for beneficiaries who have achieved the right to payment of funeral/funeral/burial costs. 193,200 BAM is allocated to settle obligations for the shelter for beggars and vagrants.

Persons from the area of ​​the Canton of Sarajevo who are in a state of social need are provided with 40,000 BAM. The government plans to cover the heating costs of social categories of the population with 733,000 BAM, while it allocates 150,000 BAM for co-financing social programs.

It is also planned to allocate a sum for financial compensation for the work of guardians in the amount of 100,000 BAM.

Furthermore, this Ministry’s program also provides for compensation for civilian victims of the war. 16.3 million BAM is intended for them. It is also planned that a number of associations that are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry will receive the money.
