The Forum dedicated to the Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica to take place in BiH’s Capital

Forum “Resolution – International Day of Remembrance and Commemoration of the Genocide in Srebrenica 1995”, organized by the Bosniak Institute – Foundation of Adil Zulfikarpašić, Foundation of the Society of Common Values, Memorial Center Srebrenica – Potočari memorial and graves for the victims of genocide in 1995 and Association “Movement of the Mother enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa”, and under the auspices of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, will be held today in Sarajevo.

The meeting was conceived as a panel session dedicated to the Resolution, its importance and implementation in the process of comprehensively reaching truth, justice and reconciliation, as well as its international importance and future reflections, the organizers announced.

The forum begins with a message from the chairman Bećirović, and the opening speech will be given by the Permanent Representative of BiH to the United Nations, Zlatko Lagumdžija. The panelists are the director of the Memorial Center Potočari, Emir Suljagić, and the president of the Association “Movement of the Mother Enclaves of Srebrenica and Žepa”, Munira Subašić.

The moderator of the Forum is Muhamed Jusić, publicist and former ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Saudi Arabia.

After the meeting, which will be held at the Bosniak Institute, a reception will be organized with an appropriate exhibition.
