The Government of the Republika Srpska adopted at today’s session the Information on the need to procure a new multi-purpose helicopter, and tasked the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska with conducting the public procurement procedure.
The Government will allocate 14,625,000 BAM, including VAT, for the helicopter.
The decision to procure a new helicopter was made based on an assessment by the newly formed Aviation Administration of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs, which, according to the RS Government, assessed that the existing helicopter fleet was not sufficient to efficiently perform all prescribed tasks.
“Taking into account the upcoming summer season, and according to estimates of the high risk of fire outbreaks throughout the Republic, the Aviation Administration has determined the need to procure a new multi-purpose helicopter,” the Government announced.
In addition to firefighting, the new helicopter should be used to transport the injured and sick, as well as to respond to other crisis situations such as floods, snowdrifts and other natural disasters.
The Government of the Republika Srpska today adopted information on the implementation of the procedure for granting incentives to increase workers’ salaries with the effects of the granted incentives for the accounting period July-December 2024 in the amount of 13,994,788 BAM, which improved the conditions for the workforce to remain in the RS.
Funds were approved for the purpose of increasing salaries for 36,753 workers in 1,151 economic entities, the Government’s Public Relations Bureau announced.
The Government of the Republika Srpska has established the Draft Law on Amendments to the Family Law, which harmonizes certain provisions of this legal solution with the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republika Srpska of February 26.
The Constitutional Court has determined that the disputed articles of the Family Law violate the rights to privacy, personal and family life guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republika Srpska, the Government’s Public Relations Bureau announced.
The statutory time limits for filing lawsuits to establish and contest paternity limit an individual’s right to know their biological identity and establish a personal, family and legal relationship with their biological father, which constitutes a violation of their right to privacy and personal integrity.
The proposed law stipulates that a child may file a lawsuit to establish paternity, as well as a lawsuit to contest paternity, regardless of age.
