The longest Lunar Eclipse in the last Century to take place Tonight

Stargazers will have the opportunity to enjoy another lunar eclipse or the celestial phenomenon called the Bloody Moon tonight. It is interesting that tonight’s lunar eclipse will be the longest one in the last century.

During the night, the natural satellite of Earth will turn into a shiny red or brown ball.

The period of total eclipse, when the Moon is completely dark, will last for an hour and 43 minutes. Lunar extensions will be visible from any place on the Earth during the night.

Thus, tonight’s eclipse will be visible in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, larger part of Asia and South America and the UK from 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

At the same time as we testify the phenomenon of Bloody Moon, Mars will be at the nearest point of Earth since 2013. It will look like a red star on the sky without clouds.

The lunar eclipse in our country will start around 9:30 p.m., and it will reach its maximum at 10:21 pm, while it will end at 11:13 p.m.

To recall, this will be the longest lunar eclipse in the 21st century.
