The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina had information that cadets of the Serbian Army would enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to information from Klix.ba.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an announcement of arrival from the Embassy of Serbia, although it should be emphasized that the role of the MFA in these situations is purely to forward information to competent bodies and institutions.
In an interview with Klix.ba, Helez said that the cadets could not enter BiH without an invitation and that it was probably done by the RS Ministry of Labor and Veterans’ Disability Protection.
“It’s about cadets, it’s not the army, it comes under education and it’s someone else’s responsibility…According to our information, I think that the Ministry of Labor and Veterans and Disability Protection of the RS found some legal basis to invite them as students , and then to present it as an army,” Helez said, although the cadets are also soldiers, that is, officers.
Helez: The Serbian Army was not in Prijedor, but the cadets of the military academy. The RS brought the students and presented them as soldiers.
Deputy Minister of Defense from among the Serbian people, Aleksandar Goganović, said that approval is not even necessary, but that it is only necessary to inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He “benevolently advises politicians to study the laws and procedures”, which indicates that in the RS they probably found a loophole in the law so that they would not have to send a request for entry approval to the BiH state institutions.
Let us remind you that this morning the Serbian Army paraded through Prijedor as part of the commemoration of the Battle of Kozara. This event was organized under the auspices of the Government of the RS, with the aim of highlighting the Serbian victims and the struggle of the Serbs against the Ustashas and fascists.
After marching through Prijedor, the cadets continued their parade towards Kozara. The day before, according to unofficial information, soldiers were also in Bratunac.
