The Number of blocked Accounts of Business Entities increased to 107,828

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 107,828 accounts of business entities were blocked in September, 273 more than at the end of the previous month, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

To date, 58,959 companies have had at least one account blocked, which is 121 more companies than the previous month.

This monthly report on blocked accounts in the Bank’s Transaction Accounts Registry, which contains 4,362 pages, eight more than in the previous month, lists legal entities from various fields – municipalities, businesses, sports and health organizations, cooperatives, agencies, associations, and entities engaged in service activities.

As of the end of August, 107,555 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 58,838 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
