The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has suspended the investigation for attacking the constitutional order against Milorad Dodik, Nenad Stevandić and Radovan Višković.

As a reminder, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced in March that it had initiated investigative actions since December last year on suspicion of the criminal act of attacking the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The investigation was intensified after the National Assembly of the Republic adopted unconstitutional laws and took steps that threatened the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prosecutor’s Office informed the public about the progress of the investigation after the then President of RS Milorad Dodik signed decrees in Banja Luka prohibiting the activities of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), as well as the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPC) on the territory of that entity.

The Constitutional Court of BiH annulled these laws, and under pressure from the United States, the National Assembly of RS withdrew its decisions in October. As a result, sanctions were lifted against Milorad Dodik, as well as individuals and companies associated with him.
