The rest of the Czech reserve forces arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the large annual military exercise “Quick Response 2025”, which will gather soldiers from 25 countries until September 26, with the participation and support of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to EUFOR, Czech and Hungarian reserve forces, together with members of KFOR, will join EUFOR forces on the ground.

The annual EUFOR exercise “Quick Response 2025” will take place from September 9 to 26 throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After all the forces scheduled for participation have arrived, an integration exercise will be conducted, and it will be followed by a full-scale implementation of the “Quick Response”.

EUFOR also states that members of the Armed Forces of BiH and law enforcement agencies in BiH will train together with EUFOR members.

The aim of the exercise, they explain, is to improve the operational readiness of all forces involved and to confirm EUFOR’s continued support to its BiH partners in maintaining a secure and stable environment throughout BiH.

EUFOR soldiers from 25 countries currently deployed in the area of operations will participate in the exercise.

During the exercise, residents will be able to observe an increased presence and movement of soldiers, patrols, as well as other military activities, including the deployment of reserve force equipment and helicopters.

These activities will be most visible in and around Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, Livno, Orašje, Zenica, Žepče, Tuzla, Prijedor, as well as at the Svilaj and Klobuk border crossings. Some operations may take place at night or involve a larger number of people than usual.

The BiH Armed Forces will support EUFOR by providing training locations and logistical support during this major exercise.

Local authorities and communities will be informed in advance of all EUFOR movements in their area, through EUFOR liaison teams and official communication channels.
