The Storm caused Damage in Herzegovina

The strong storm that hit Mostar on Saturday afternoon caused damage to buildings and cars, and flooded several city streets and toppled several trees, the Operational Center of Civil Protection of Herzegovina Neretva Canton reported on Sunday.

A strong storm with gusts of wind and heavy rainfall also affected the Čapljina area, and part of the Počitelj polje settlement had no electricity because the tree damaged the electric cables.

Large amounts of precipitation blocked the storm drains of the streets in that city, so Čapljna firefighters pulled vehicles out of the water and pumped water out of the stadium in Gabela.

In Neum, large amounts of precipitation blocked storm drains in the streets.

In Mostar, firefighters removed several trees that fell on streets, buildings and cars.
