At today’s session of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, a decision was made to open the embassy of that country in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with headquarters in Sarajevo.

On this occasion, the Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Delić, announced that the opening of the embassy is a direct result of the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina was presented at the world exhibition in Dubai for six months and many officials of the United Arab Emirates visited our pavilion, among them Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, with whom we discussed the opening of their country’s embassy in our homeland,” said Minister Delić.

The news about the opening of the UAE embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina was published today by the Emirates News Agency – wam.ae.
